What happens when you press Bypass link
Our server asks the shortener for the link and reads the answer, so the ad or countdown page stays on its side. How to bypass exe.io links safely
We request the short link
From our server, with a fresh connection and none of your cookies.
We follow every hop
One hop at a time, until the link stops redirecting or something blocks it.
You see the destination
The real URL, how many hops it took, and safety checkers for its domain.
Skip the ad page and read the real destination
exe.io, ouo.io, adf.ly and similar ad-gated shorteners store a destination and make you pass through an ad or countdown page before they send you there. Lewati is a shortlink skipper: it asks the shortener for the link from its own server, follows each redirect, and reads the destination from the response. Your browser never loads the ad page, so there are no pop-ups, fake download buttons or countdowns to sit through.
How to bypass exe.io links
- Copy the full short link exactly as you received it, for example an exe.io link.
- Paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Bypass link.
- Read the real URL in the trace card and compare the domain with what you expected.
- Open a safety check if the domain is unfamiliar, then decide whether to visit it.
More detail, including why some links fail: how to bypass exe.io links safely. For other kinds of shortlinks, the guide on what a shortlink skipper can really do explains which ones can be skipped.

Check the domain before you click
Short links are a common way to hide phishing pages, fake downloads and giveaway scams, because the link itself tells you nothing about where it goes. Lewati does not scan the destination. It shows you the real domain and points you to independent checkers for it.
A link that promises a download or a prize and lands on an unrelated domain deserves a second look. So does a domain that copies a brand with an extra word, a swapped letter or an unusual ending.
Every result lists VirusTotal, Google Safe Browsing, Norton Safe Web, Sucuri SiteCheck, McAfee SiteAdvisor and WOT. Our guide on checking whether a short link is safe walks through it, including what to do after a bad click.

The trace only says where the link goes. A game download that ends on a prize site is your cue to run those checks before opening it.
What the trace shows
Each hop gets its own row: the host, the HTTP status or the method that moved it on, and how long it took in milliseconds. The bars under the trace compare those timings, so a slow hop stands out. If someone checked the same link recently, Lewati shows the saved answer without hop timings.

Free, with no account
There is no sign-up, no paid tier and no browser extension to install, and the tool works the same on a phone or a laptop. The donation page helps with hosting if you want to support it.
What is logged
There are no accounts to sign in to. Operational logs are kept for a limited period for rate limiting, abuse prevention and diagnostics, and the FAQ below lists the fields an entry can include. Details are in the privacy policy. New to the tool? Read the step-by-step guide.
Questions about bypassing short links
Still unsure? The step-by-step guide and the privacy policy cover the details.
How do I bypass an exe.io link?
Copy the full exe.io link, paste it into the box at the top of this page, and press Bypass link. Lewati requests the link from its server, follows the redirects, and shows the real destination so you do not have to sit through the ad page. If the destination is only released after a captcha or a login, it cannot be read by a server-side tool and Lewati will say the link could not be resolved.
Which shorteners does Lewati support?
Lewati supports 50+ short link services from anywhere in the world, including ad-gated ones such as exe.io, ouo.io, adf.ly, shorte.st and bc.vc, and everyday ones such as bit.ly, tinyurl.com, cutt.ly, rb.gy, s.id, ilang.in and intip.in. Any short link that redirects normally can usually be resolved. The supported links page has the full list.
Is Lewati free?
Yes. The bypass tool is free, needs no account, and has no paid tier. A donation page exists for people who want to help with hosting and upkeep, but it is optional.
Is it safe to open the link Lewati finds?
Lewati does not scan the destination itself. It shows the real URL and gives you lookup links for VirusTotal, Google Safe Browsing, Sucuri, Norton, WOT and SiteAdvisor so you can check the domain first. Whether to open the page is still your decision, and a short link that sends you to an unrelated domain is a reason to stop.
Why did my short link fail to resolve?
Common reasons are a link that has expired or been deleted, a service that requires a captcha, login or timer before it reveals the destination, a domain behind bot protection such as Cloudflare, or a temporary rate limit. Check that you pasted the full link and try once more. Some services, such as tinyurl.com and t.co, are known to fail more often.
Does Lewati store the links I paste?
Lewati keeps standard operational logs, which can include the short URL, the resolved URL, your IP address, browser user agent, the method used and timing. These are used for rate limiting, abuse prevention and diagnostics and are kept for a limited period. The privacy policy has the details.
Does skipping the ad page hurt the link creator?
Many shorteners such as exe.io and adf.ly pay their users for ad views, so skipping the ad page means the creator earns nothing from that visit. Lewati is meant for checking where a link goes and avoiding unwanted ad pages. If you want to support a creator whose content you value, open the link normally.
